Happy Valentines Day everyone!! Let’s celebrate with some chocolate covered strawberries 🙂
I decided to celebrate by putting together some paleo desserts for the occasion, and one on my list was chocolate covered strawberries. I used Eating Evolved Toasted Coconut Chocolate Spread and man did it taste good. You can either melt the chocolate by putting in a saucepan over the stove on low, or in the microwave max for two minutes. Let the chocolate cool for a minute or two.
Place ground almond meal or crushed almonds (hammer time) in a bowl next to the chocolate. Dip the strawberries in the chocolate first, then spin around in the almond mix completely until covered. Place on parchment paper, and once finished place in the refrigerator because well they taste better cold. You can also sprinkle cinnamon on time for an even sweeter finish.
To get a jump start on St. Patricks’ Day for more paleo desserts, head over to eatingevolved.com and enter the code melissaftmt at checkout to receive a free Mint Chocolate Spread with a purchase of any amount. I’m working on putting together a paleo thin mint or maybe a paleo shamrock shake recipe som make sure you don’t miss out on getting a free spread! Hope you all have a great Valentines Day!
