Roasted Sweet Potato Fries

I’m obsessed with sweet potato fries. They are the perfect paleo side dish, if I can find them with a turkey burger that’s a home run for me.

I decided to try making them at home, and they really hit the spot. Unlike most processed sweet potato fries, when you make them from scratch your passing up the fillers and added sugars for spicy paleo side awesomeness. You can buy pre-cut sweet potato fries in the produce section of your grocery store (I get mine from Albertsons). You can also check out Pinterest for a how to chop yourself if you wish (I’m lazy like that)

Roasted Sweet Potato Fries

Total Prep Time: 10 minutes

Total Cook Time: 30 Minutes


1 Sweet Potato (or pre-cut fries)

1 tablespoon paprika

1 teaspoon sea salt

1 tablespoon cinnamon

1 tablespoon olive oil


Pre heat the oven to 450 degrees. Once you have your fries cut up, place them on a cooking pan lined with parchment paper. Cover the fries with olive oil first, then sprinkle the paprika, salt, pepper and cinnamon over the fries. Shake the pan to cover evenly. Place in the oven and let cook for 30 minutes.  If you want them crispy, let cook for an additional 5 minutes.

Once the fries are done, let them cool for a bit and dive in. I love serving these with Sir Kengsington secret sauce, which is also paleo friendly.
